Does anybody think the name should be changed to "Paloma" given that the firecracker is of spanish origin under the name "dove"?

Everyone I know calls them Polumnas, so I think "Paloma" would throw would throw people off. Doesn't Paloma mean dove anyways?

From my understanding Polumna comes from palo, which is a word for wood, in spanish. Palomnas are 'woodchips', and Polumnas look like little chips of wood, and feel like it because they are dense little pieces of paper. Paloma isnt a common usage, and so Polumna would seem more appropriate in this case. Just my 2 cents...
